Using lowering springs to give your car better performance

Car stance is everything not only it improves in aesthetics but it also help the cars handling.
Here is a good explanation from Japanese Cars. READ!

Stock vs Lowered. Height will vary depending on spring rate.

One of the best ways to get an unbeatable look for one's car is through lowering springs as it gives the car an amazing look. It not only gives great style and enigma to the car, but also improves the performance of your car. The reason being, Lowering springs tend to give the car a lower center of gravity which improves the handling and steering response of the car. They can also bring the fuel consumption of the car to considerably low levels. However, there are some good to know facts before buying lowering springs for your car.

There are many who suggest heating your springs to make them sag, it is best not to follow any such suggestions as it is going to damage your car and its performance and is ultimately going to cost you a lot of money.

Lowering the car exerts a lot of stress and pressure on the OEM struts and shocks. To ensure good performance of struts and shocks even after lowering your car, it is recommended to buy suspension parts with a record of good performance. If one is running on a tight budget, purchasing separate struts, shocks and springs will give you the desirable ride and height without pricking your pocket much. However, if you are one of those quality conscious people, then it is best to go for quality coilovers like Skunk 2, Mugen, Megan Racing, D2, Tein and JIC. Though these coilovers are costlier, they have more benefits to offer as well.

The most important advantage of using performance shocks and struts is that it has the ability to endure and survive the rigors and thrusts of a lowered ride. The performance shocks and struts also give a comfortable seating arrangement for the driver as well as for the passengers. On the other hand if one is choosing OEM shocks and struts, then one should be prepared for the harsh and raucous rides.

Coilovers are considered to be a good option for lowering the car. The coilovers include struts and shocks, lowering springs and a built in camber adjustment. The purchasing of coilover sleeves will also serve the purpose, however one needs to have performance struts and shocks and a quality camber kit for a decent ride.

Lowering springs give a sleek and modern look to your car and also maintains the quality and stability of the car. One can also avoid the unwanted body roll by using lowering springs of good quality. There is no doubt that lowering springs are the best way to give the looks of your car an edge over the others and to kill the gap between the fender lip and the top of the wheel.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8

Here is a fast and quick review like the car itself! The numbers are good how about the price? well if the price is right why not?

Every now and then we step out of the traditional sub/compact segment. This is one of those times, and boy is it fun.

Behold the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track, all 345 horsepower of it. Technically, the EPA actually calls the Hyundai Genesis Coupe a subcompact—works for me. I love the revised front end, the big-ass Brembo brakes, and the snarl of the exhaust. Unfortunately it's saddled with the automatic. All hope isn't lost; it's the company's new eight-speed (no, that's not a typo) hooked up to the sweet 3.8-liter mill and directing power to the rear wheels. It does have manual shifting abilities thanks to paddle shifters.

Initial impressions: Oh so fun, even for an automatic. Great power, great brakes, great handling. Fuel economy is ... who cares. I haven't bothered to look. All I know so far is that it has got gobs of thrust, especially considering most vehicles we review here have under 150 hp. It feels very solid, and I think it looks great. The fuel bill for this one might be higher than most, but you know what? I don't care.

Stay Tuned.

How to deal with a boxing robbery

I thought robbers only attack on street alleys I didn't know that they do exist in a sport like boxing. If you haven't watched the Pacquiao vs Bradley fight last night then good for you. The fight reached a decisive match in which Bradley won by split decision and Bradley himself is shocked. It was clear who won the fight from compubox and the stats, for that loss Pacquiao now has 4 losses and the best part, Mayweather now can bash on Pacquiao all day in his cute little prison cell.

Boxing nowadays is a politic sports, money runs it. It is a business thanks to the promoters who want's some benjamins. So, you ask how Pacquiao deal with the loss?
and with a this

what more can he ask? now that he is also a religious figure. Maybe it't time to hang up the gloves if no Mayweather clash will happen or it never will happen.

The 2012 Hyundai Veloster

So, here is the new 2012 Hyundai Veloster. I will not have a review on this car coz it will still about to be released. Yesterday, I read a blog that the Veloster will be priced below $20 grand! are you kidding me! Thankfully it published erroneous information before having it confirmed. The Veloster by the way have a turbo variant for a whopping $1,600. For the real MSRP we will have to wait 24 hours for that.

Frankly speaking the Veloster is the only Hyundai line I like by the way the body angle looks, looking at the front fascia you can see the large grill that's about to swallow the car in front and at first glanced it looks like the new Audi A8. If the numbers on this Veloster is worth the price, I'll take one any day.

Anybody can drive in Uncle Sam's land

I got a close call this morning while driving. This old model silver Ford Taurus with Cali plates - 6UDM693 suddenly cut me off without even signaling. You might say he didn't noticed me. Well, how can he not notice me when I'm adjacent to him in the stoplight. I know he did that on purpose coz after a mile he did that again to another vehicle. I don't know what's his issue, maybe he wants to get to the second stoplight first or he thinks he is in NASCAR. To the driver! make sure when you do that there's no other passenger on the other party! I was with my 7yr old at that time. Damn! cali drivers! just god damn plain inconsiderate fools!

His vehicle looks similar to this.

Fiat 500 Abarth

Here's a bad news for Fiat fans specifically for the "Abarth" model. They are SOLD OUT! info here
My take on this is, why would they limit the production to just 3,000? to make it exclusive? Nah, anyhow I'd rather stick to the Mini Cooper specifically the "JCW (John Cooper Works) edition". Boom! and your abarth eats my dust!
